From our at-home view of last Sunday’s Academy Awards, there was a really lengthy photo of Penelope Cruz when Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem took the stage and danced their own way to the microphone. THE GENERAL Thought

At the center of the tale is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite a historical war. A beautiful, young researchers, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a powerful effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first adore. THE GOOD

This is one Entertaining movie.

The tie ins are very subtle. They don’big t shove them down your throat, but if you know several background they are all pretty apparent at the same time. This felt very easy as if they learned one thing from Iron Man 2, where the film felt more like it was a new prologue to The Avengers instead of an Ironman movie. This does MORE tie up ins, and keeps it smooth.

Hemsworth IS Thor. This guy just owns the role and there’s no question that they made the right choice. And Tom Hiddleston’s Loki can be deliciously mischievious without being the least bit exaggerated or silly. In fact every one of the cast is very fitting. Kat Dennings may be the comic relief and very meticulously steals moments in the film. Stan Lee makes his Cameo as always, and its very brief.

Equilibrium is probably the best way I can describe how well this film performs. There is a LOT to try and cram straight into this movie and they do it all without overwhelming the audience. They tie it into the some other movies – Hawkeye/Clint Barton cameo, Banner is fifty percent mentioned, Stark is pointed out. And they are also carefyl to point out how Thor is different from the Comics (How they mention Donald Blake is awesome) right down to just fitting the PLOT inside too! There is a lot of history that’s played out well, the particular plot plays out properly and the setting of Globe and Asgard is played away well too.

Just awesome.

And the action is GREAT. The landscape where Thor lets loose along with the Warriors Three is actually incredible. Fanrall (Joshua Dallas) is my favourite, and Sif is just beautiful whilst still being an effective warrior in her own appropriate.

And of course, every action good guy needs a love interest. But for once they play it right. It’s there, don’t get me wrong. But the so secondary to what’utes going on that

THE BAD

There’s a tiny bit with Agent Coulson and Thor that bugs me. In their own previous meeting Coulson is cooking Thor about where he acquired his training etc (which we saw in the trailers) and the next occasion they meet Thor says “I’m your ally” and Coulson just will take that at face value and drops it. Seemed also quick 180 to me.

A very important factor that is bad is the genuinely dark establishing scenes on the very beginning of the movie. They certainly are a little “too” dark. Visually, certainly not in content. I attended the particular 3D version, and that actually is going to hit those Three dimensional hating “its darker” people difficult. I even had to admit there are parts in that part of the film that 3D served simply no purpose.

And on that, the particular 3D really didn’t do or die this movie. It was just an additional tool to make things search extra cool, but I consider the breathtaking visuals is correct just fine without it too.

A LOT of fun at the theater and I loved the crap out of this movie. If you are a fan involving superhero films, I won’to recommend you go see this… My spouse and i command you to!
